Mehta eye surgery and laser centre is comprehensive superspeciality eye care unit established by Dr Janakbhai Mehta in the year 1986 in Rajkot. The practice has witnessed numerous advances over the years keeping up with the latest developments in the field of eye diagnostics and surgery.
The centre was the first to start laser surgery in Rajkot in the year 1987 in the form of radial keratotomy. MBBS, DOMS

He completed his post graduation in ophthalmology from prestigious Nagri eye hospital(VS hospital), Ahmedabad in 1985. This was followed up by super speciality training in oculoplasty at Moorfield eye hospital, London and in refractive surgery at Fvodorov eye institute, Moscow. He then established his clinic at Rajkot in the year 1986 and was among the first surgeons to perform refractive surgery for spectacle removal in saurashtra region. Over the years he has become synonymous with excellence in his field with his immense experience and tens of thousands happy faces of his patients is an testament to that.

DR. PRAGN MEHTA

MBBS, DO, DNB, FVRS

He completed his graduation with a gold medal from Smolensk state academy and followed that with post graduation in ophthalmology from prestigious Sankara eye hospital. He then pursued superspeciality in vitreoretinal surgery and ocular oncology at Sankara eye hospital, Bangalore. He has performed more than 10000 surgeries and his experience includes management of complicated cataract cases and retinal surgeries. Academically he is very active and has many presentations at national conferences and has won awards for the same.
